Colgate has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) throughtheir Design for the Environment Safer Detergent Stewardship Initiative (SDSI) program for our use of safer surfactants in personal care and home care products. Through the SDSI, the EPA's Design for the Environment Program recognizes environmental leaders who voluntarily commit to the use of safer surfactants in detergents. Safer surfactants are surfactants that break down quickly to non-polluting compounds and help protect aquatic life in both fresh and salt water. Colgate is being recognized as a Champion, the highest level of recognition offered under SDSI. |
